Announced on: 09/30/09 Quaker State has announced the winner of its "World's Worst Commute" contest in which user-uploaded video entries of horrible work commutes from around the country were submitted through a video file upload system in a Drupal CMS, integrated using a vSocial API and developed by Tecture.  Tecture worked with Exposure Marketing and Doner on a developmental level to launch this promotion for Quaker State.

Our Flash team created strategically-developed custom animations for the contest as well as a video leader-board showcasing the results of the voting system.  Results can now be viewed on the website by either video vote ranking or filtered by state so you can see how your commute ranks with your state's worst!

Tecture would like to congratulate Quaker State on a successfully-run contest as well as Kimberly Hanson from Salt Springs, FL, for winning the World's Worst Commute contest with her detail of her daily off-road, cross-river ordeal in order to assist the elderly.  She has won a ride with 3-time defending Sprint Cup champion Jimmie Johnson on his own personal commute to work as well as tickets and airfare to the Bank of America 500 race in Charlotte, NC!

Check out the contest results and all submitted commute videos to see just how good YOU have it!
