Loretto Hospital sought a complete redesign and departure from their outdated website in order to properly convey their tradition of community care and awareness as well as Loretto Hospital's advanced medical services. With over 500 employees, Loretto Hospital is the largest non-governmental employer in Chicago, Illinois' largest community area, Austin, home to more than 132,000 residents. Loretto Hospital's messages of health awareness and services to their community shows graciously through their participation and sponsorship of free health screenings and workshops.
Loretto Hospital's highly skilled staff is comprised of registered and licensed practical nurses, technologists, technicians, therapists, social counselors, and pharmacists, all working to support and serve each and every patient. Their mission to provide quality patient-centered care and education down to the community level proved an added incentive to Tecture to reward Loretto Hospital with a website design that conveyed the diversity of their services, staff capabilities, and the community itself. The inviting design and layout help facilitate the ease of information discovery throughout the website for Loretto Hospital's myriad of services and programs.
Since Loretto Hospital is well-familiar with self-sustainment, they wanted the capabilities that would allow them to make changes to their website in-house, through a content management system that any of their staff can be easily trained to use. Tecture built the new website on the Site Ignition CMS platform for this very purpose, empowering their staff to quickly adjust images, copy, and other elements on the website without taking an additional step to contact Tecture for that type of support. Tecture is proud to have partnered with Loretto Hospital for the launch of their new online identity.
