Tecture LLC

Jay Simon is a published professional author and gifted writer with 15 years of project management experience. Considered the Tecture “senior” by age only, Jay truly is a kid at heart. Though originally from California, Jay rooted himself deeply in Chicago, attending Columbia College majoring in illustration and then, sometime later, becoming a part-time instructor just down the street at the Illinois Institute of Art for scripting/storytelling for video game design. He enjoys the constant juggle of deadlines and desires set forth by the client, and enjoys delivering them successfully even more.

During off hours, you can find Jay spiking on the volleyball court through an established players’ network that he started and continues to run, a true passion of his and an indicator of his dedication to teamwork in everything he does. He loves breathing the fresh outdoor air under the sun as much as possible, unless he’s at Chicago’s Soldier Field stadium watching the Bears, where he’d rather have it be 17-degrees below zero with snowfall!
