Common Threads teaches low-income children to cook wholesome and affordable meals through their belief that, through their hands-on cooking classes, Common Threads can help prevent childhood obesity and reverse the trend of generations of non-cookers, while fostering an appreciation of cultural diversity through cooking.
Children who participate in their programming go to their kitchens and embark on a world of adventure as they prepare nutritious meals rooted in diverse cultural heritages. Tecture designed and developed this ecommerce website, enabling Common Threads to sell tickets to various events they host as well as automate donations to the organization so that they may continue to educate our youth in both information and, of course…nutritious and diverse food!
