ETF Port is a new website focused on covering Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs). An ETF combines the best of stocks and mutual funds into a single investment vehicle. Like mutual funds, they are baskets of assets (stocks and/or bonds), and offer a way for investors to diversify their holdings. Like stocks, they trade continuously throughout the day. They tend to have low expense ratios.
ETF Port's mission is to focus exclusively on ETFs, and bring information and analysis to ETF investors through its website and newsletter.
Tecture designed the ETF Port logo, website, and newsletter HTML email layout. The ETF Port website includes charts, quotes, and ETF data provided by BarChart.com. Tecture worked with BarChart.com to build a unique custom JavaScript integration for the data and charts.
Tecture developed the ETF Port website using it's Site Ignition website management platform, allowing ETF Port's staff to easily manage the site and its content, create newsletters, add new articles, add new ETF fund families, etc. The website utilizes Site Ignition's powerful fielded search and role-based registration features.
