In an effort to explore viral marketing options for MyAdventures.com, Tecture conceived an idea to wade through the vast member population of Facebook and develop a quiz indicative of an adventuring nature to tie in with the site. With Facebook users taking quizzes every day, the base of the marketing strategy was already in place. The true test would come in how this application was to be presented to its potential users and what information could be analyzed from its use.

Tecture developed a Facebook quiz asking users "What animal is inside of you?," using animals from continents all around the world that are featured on the MyAdventures.com website. In order to attract users to take this quiz, the copy for the questions and results were written with an edge and humor that a wide age range of users could appreciate and pass along to their friends, helping the quiz proliferate throughout the Facebook population. Tecture developed tables that allowed close monitoring of all statistics involving the effectiveness of this quiz such as how many users took it, how many abandoned it and, among a few others, how many took the quiz and signed up for their own account on MyAdventures.com. A "Compare your results" option led the user to a custom built MyAdventures.com page where they could see a percentage result of all other test-takers as well as a strong call to action to sign up for a MyAdventures.com membership simply by easily adding just an email address and password.

Tecture used the largest social networking site in the world to extract a specific audience who will find a direct connection with an adventuring and trip planning website in order to build a member-base on MyAdventures.com...all while giving everyone a good chuckle as well.
